A Hair Mask is an intensive conditioning treatment designed to deeply nourish, hydrate and repair the hair. Unlike regular conditioner, a hair mask is left on for longer, allowing concentrated ingredients to penetrate the hair shaft and help improve the appearance of dry, damaged or weakened hair.Used regularly, a hair mask for hair growth and strength can help smooth the cuticle, reduce breakage and boost softness and shine, making it an essential step for anyone looking to support healthier, stronger-looking hair as part of a complete hair care routine. It's a worthwhile investment according to Trichologist, Kate Holden, who says, "I’d recommend investing in a good deep conditioning treatment, such as the UKHAIR by UKLASH Repair Mask. Its innovative bond-building technology can make a huge difference in rebuilding the protein content in your hair, making it smoother and stronger.
To use a hair mask, gently squeeze out excess water after Shampoo, then apply the hair mask evenly through the mid-lengths and ends. Leave the mask on for five to ten minutes, or longer if your hair needs extra nourishment, allowing the ingredients time to deeply condition and strengthen the hair. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water, then style as usual. Used one to two times a week, a hair mask helps restore moisture, reduce breakage and support softer, stronger and healthier-looking hair as part of a regular hair care routine. You should use a hair mask one to two times a week, depending on your hair type and condition. If your hair is dry, damaged or chemically treated, regular use helps restore moisture, improve strength and reduce breakage, while finer or less damaged hair may benefit from weekly use to maintain softness and shine. Using a hair mask consistently as part of your routine supports healthier-looking, stronger hair without weighing it down, helping keep hair nourished, smooth and manageable over time.Read more about how often to use a hair mask here.
Yes, Argan Oil is very good for hair, thanks to its nourishing and conditioning properties that help improve the look and feel of dry, damaged or brittle strands. When used regularly, Argan Oil for hair helps smooth the hair cuticle, reduce frizz and enhance softness and shine. Many of the key Argan Oil benefits come from its ability to help moisturise and strengthen hair, making it especially effective in intensive treatments like an Argan Oil hair mask. That’s why Argan Oil is used in the UKLASH Repair Mask, where it helps deeply nourish the hair, improve manageability and support healthier-looking, stronger hair with continued use.
For best results, hair masks are usually applied to clean, damp hair after Shampoo or Conditioner, as this helps the ingredients absorb evenly and deliver deeper nourishment and repair. That said, you can also use a hair mask on dry hair as a styling and treatment step. Instead of using stubborn gels or pomades, we use the UKLASH Repair Mask to slick down stray baby hairs when creating a sleek, slick-back bun, nourishing the hair while achieving a smooth, polished finish.

I have very fine hair which was in a terribly damaged state nine months ago with a lot of breakage and this hair mask has really helped turn it around. I use it most times that I wash my hair now and it conditions it really well but doesn’t weigh it down like most conditioners do. My hairdresser pointed out loads of new growth and I have a lot less breakage so I have lots more hair now and it looks and feels in far better condition
