Hair Growth Serums aim to stimulate hair growth at the root by supplying a range of active ingredients to the scalp and invigorating hair follicles, reducing hair loss and resulting in a thicker and fuller head of hair. To learn more about how hair growth serums work head to our article here.
Yes, Anagain is a plant-based active ingredient used in hair care to support hair growth and density. It’s derived from organic pea sprouts and is designed to help improve the appearance of hair by encouraging thicker, fuller-looking strands over time.
Often used in an Anagain hair growth serum, such as the UKHAIR Hair Growth Serum, this ingredient works by supporting the hair’s natural growth process, helping hair look stronger, denser and healthier with consistent use. Anagain for hair growth is valued for its ability to improve overall hair vitality, making it a popular choice for those looking to address thinning and support long-term hair health.
We recommend allowing around 12 to 18 weeks to see results from a hair growth serum, as scalp hair grows more slowly than eyelashes and eyebrows. The hair growth cycle takes time, so consistent daily use is key, giving your scalp and hair follicles the chance to absorb the active ingredients and support the appearance of longer, stronger and healthier-looking hair over time.
Yes, dermarolling can help support hair growth when used correctly and consistently. By creating tiny micro-channels on the scalp, dermarolling helps stimulate circulation and encourages a healthier scalp environment, which is important for supporting the natural hair growth cycle.Dermarolling is also known to enhance the absorption of Hair Growth Serums, allowing active ingredients to penetrate more effectively. When used one to two times a week alongside a targeted hair growth routine, dermarolling can help improve the appearance of hair density and thickness over time, making it a popular tool for those experiencing hair thinning or slower hair growth. For more information about the benefits of dermarolling the scalp, head to our article here.
We suggest using a the UKLASH Dermaroller for hair growth one to two times per week, based on the rollers 540, 0.25mm needles. The frequency that you should dermaroll the scalp depends on the needle length and how your scalp responds. This gives the scalp enough time to recover between sessions while still benefiting from regular stimulation.Overusing a dermaroller can irritate the scalp, so it’s important to space sessions out and always use gentle pressure. For best results, follow dermarolling with a Hair Growth Serum and stay consistent, as gradual, regular use helps support a healthy scalp and improved hair density over time. For more information on how often to use a scalp dermaroller, head to our article here.

I have been using the hair growth serum from UK lash every morning for 5 months following a diagnosis of alopecia areata. I'm undergoing medical treatment with a trichologist too but I think this serum has helped with my hair growth journey. I now have no shedding and my new hair seems to have grown back more healthier than ever. I use a derma roller on my scalp before applying a few drops of the serum and gently massage this on with a scalp massager brush. My first photo was taken 31.1.25 and the latest one 7.4.26, a dramatic improvement.

I have not really seen any difference in hair growth as yet, I still have hope. My hair does feel healthier. I have been using this now for 6 weeks, every night and have just over half a bottle left, I purchased the 50ml bottle. The 1st picture is before

After a traumatic event with significant blood loss + two emergency surgeries, I lost SO MUCH hair. I’ve been a huge fan of the lash serum for years as my lashes have always been so short and this serum is also a huge game changer.
I decided to try the hair serum and I’m blown away with how amazing this is working. Photo of my hair before (natural state, first photo)
As well as following the major event (2nd & 3rd photo), and currently (three months of using the serum)
