Yes, eyelash curlers do work, helping lift and curl lashes from the root for a more open, eye-awakening look. When used correctly on clean, dry lashes, they can instantly enhance the appearance of length and definition, especially when followed by one of the UKLASH mascaras to help hold the curl in place.
To use an Eyelash Curler, start with clean, dry lashes and position the curler at the base of your lashes, close to the lash line without pinching the skin. Gently squeeze and hold for five to ten seconds, then release, moving slightly upward along the lashes if desired for a natural curl, before finishing with mascara to help set the shape. For a more in-depth guide, head to our step-by-step article here.
It’s not recommended to use a traditional eyelash curler with lash extensions. Curlers can pull, bend or damage the extensions and weaken the adhesive bond. If you want extra lift with extensions, it’s best to speak to your lash technician about the best approach.
Tubing mascara is a type of mascara that wraps each lash in tiny, flexible polymer 'tubes', rather than coating them with traditional pigment. These tubes lengthen and define lashes without smudging or flaking, and they remove easily with warm water and gentle pressure, making them perfect to pair with a lash serum and continue your natural lash journey without unnecessary damage. To learn more about what tubing mascara is, head to our article here.
To remove tubing mascara, use warm water only. Gently soak your lashes, then apply light pressure with clean fingers or a cotton pad and slide the tubes off to break down the formula. There’s no need for makeup remover or rubbing, making it a simple, lash-friendly way to cleanse at the end of the day without unnecessary damage.
