The Grow Again Getaway Reminded Us What UKLASH Is Really About

There are moments as a brand that stay with you forever. At the end of June, our Grow Again Getaway in Ibiza became one of them.

When we first imagined The Grow Again Getaway, we saw it as an opportunity to do something a little different. Rather than creating another brand trip centred around creators and press, we wanted to go one step further and add an element to the trip to also celebrate the women who have supported UKLASH from the very beginning - Our community. We invited our incredible customers to Ibiza for a few days of connection, wellness and meaningful conversations, giving them the chance to step away from everyday life and simply enjoy being together.

While our products are designed to support healthier-looking lashes, brows and hair, the impact doesn’t stop there. The moments that stay with us are the ones where women tell us they feel more confident leaving the house, putting on mascara again, or seeing themselves in the mirror and recognising the person looking back. Those stories are, and always will be, the reason we do what we do.

Throughout the retreat, stories were shared over breakfast, by the pool and around the dinner table. Every woman arrived with her own unique journey, but they all had one thing in common. Confidence isn’t about perfection. It’s about feeling comfortable in your own skin, and sometimes, all it takes is a little support from other women who just get it.

These are their stories.

Emma

When Emma joined us in Ibiza, she’d already been part of the UKLASH community for years. In fact, applying her Original Eyelash Serum has become something she describes as “completely non-negotiable.”

After being diagnosed with cancer for the first time in 2010, Emma lost every hair on her body during treatment. “Back then I didn’t even know eyelash serums existed,” she told us. “Looking back now, I really wish I did.”

Today, it’s the little moments that mean the most. “One of my favourite things is putting on mascara and seeing my lashes curl upwards. It sounds so small, but after everything my body has been through, it feels really special.”

Emma now recommends UKLASH to friends and even people she’s met going through chemotherapy. “If something as simple as fluttery lashes can help someone feel a little more like themselves, that’s such a powerful thing.”

Prisha

For Prisha, confidence has always been about embracing every part of who she is.

Living with Sturge Weber Syndrome, a neurological condition that affects her eyes, brain and face, she’s become a passionate advocate for raising awareness around chronic illness and birthmarks. She also lives with a visual impairment.

She’s been using our Original Eyelash Serum for four years and recently added the brow serum to her routine. “When I’m stressed, I pick at my eyebrows without even realising it,” she shared. “Having something that helps me look after them has really boosted my confidence.”

The retreat was made even more special because she brought along her mum. “She’s my biggest supporter when it comes to raising awareness about my birthmark. Getting to experience this together meant everything.”

Josie

When Josie joined us in Ibiza, she was looking forward to something many mums rarely get enough of. Time to switch off, reconnect and enjoy a few days with an inspiring group of women, alongside her best friend.

For years, lash extensions were part of her routine, until they left her natural lashes feeling damaged. Around the same time, she was navigating perimenopause, which also affected the strength of her lashes. “When my extensions came off, my lashes were really ruined,” she told us. “Then, with perimenopause as well, they just weren’t as strong as they used to be.”

That’s when she discovered UKLASH. “Now, when I put mascara on, my lashes look so long. I honestly never thought they’d get back to where they are today.”

For Josie, the retreat wasn’t just about taking a break. It was about sharing the experience with other women who understood that confidence can ebb and flow through different stages of life.

Jenna

Jenna has been part of the UKLASH community since 2021, but her story began during a particularly anxious period in her life.

She developed Trichotillomania, a condition that led her to pull at her eyelashes when she felt anxious or overwhelmed, leaving them sparse and patchy. “It really knocked my confidence,” she shared. “I started using UKLASH, and now I genuinely can’t go a day without applying my serum.”

Over the years, it has become much more than a beauty product. “I’ve recommended it to so many people over the last five years because it worked for me. After more than ten orders, I think it’s safe to say I’m a very loyal customer.”

Meeting other women with completely different stories, yet so many shared experiences, made the retreat one she’ll never forget.

Olivia

Olivia first discovered UKLASH in a way many of us can relate to, after spotting our adverts on the London Underground on her daily commute. Not long after, a lash lift left her natural lashes falling out, and she began searching for a way to restore them.

“I kept seeing UKLASH everywhere on the Tube, and after my lashes started falling out, I decided to give it a try,” she told us. “I’ve tried quite a few products now, but the Tubing Mascara is definitely my favourite.”

What made the Grow Again Getaway stand out wasn’t just the destination. “I wanted to come because UKLASH are actually thinking about their community, not just opening up brand trips to content creators. It made me feel seen as a customer.”

Spending a few days surrounded by women with different stories only reinforced what she’d always loved about the brand. “I love the ethos around embracing your natural beauty. It was so nice to be in an environment where everyone could share their stories, support each other and just have a great time together.”

As we packed our bags and said our goodbyes, we just felt an immense sense of gratitude from our community. For the trust these women place in us. For the stories they were willing to share. For the reminder that UKLASH goes beyond the formulas and transforms not only lashes, brows and hair but confidence and self esteem too.

The Grow Again Getaway wasn’t about escaping everyday life. It was about creating space for connection and reminding one another that while every growth journey is unique, none of us are growing alone.

To every woman who has welcomed UKLASH into her routine, trusted us with her journey and shared her story with us, thank you. Your confidence, honesty and support inspires us every single day, and reminds us exactly why we do what we do.
